Task Description

As the Transactional Team Lead, you will drive business development and profitability in our APAC region within our Telco segment, focusing on our transactional business. Your mission encompasses managing commercial activities for our product suite, including voice, cloud communications, antifraud, A2P, Voice OTP and outsourcing solutions, while strategically growing our presence and profitability within the region. You will also be responsible for nurturing key commercial relationships with MNOs, MVNx and Telecom operators in general identifying new opportunities to expand our market footprint or account penetration. Central to this role is a customer-centric approach, focusing on understanding and anticipating local customer needs to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this role, you will:

  • Lead a regional transactional team based in Singapore towards achieving selling and buying targets in the Voice, A2P and Cloud communications within the Telco segment.
  • Ensure that the team develops broad market knowledge and a deep understanding of the targeted customer's organization and decision-making processes, to increase sales and customer profitability.
  • May be requested to directly manage some key accounts. Enhance customer profitability by selling scoped products, services, and solutions to an established number of customers in the region and further strengthen BICS' position.
  • Analyse sales and buying outcomes, adjusting strategies to surpass targets.
  • Lead, support, and motivate Account Managers in the team fostering a robust sales pipeline. Includes occasional talent evaluation and strategic hiring to bolster team capabilities as needed.
  • Ready to travel up to 50% of his/her time within the region and occasionally to European HQ. Responsible for end-to-end negotiation with the customer and ensuring appropriate and timely implementation of the relevant projects and solutions.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and reporting with the markets and finance teams in HQ and with his/her N+1 on Pipeline evolution, commercial projects, and regional market intelligence.
  • Cultivate comprehensive market and customer insights to drive sales effectiveness.
Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you are expected to have at least 10 years in international voice and telecom service sales and be familiar with the Asian telecom landscape. Besides that, you have:
