Your Role:
As an Application Production Support Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our APAC support team, providing exceptional support for Cash Management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Independently resolve and propose solutions for complex production issues, ensuring timely resolution and mínimal downtime.
- Coordinate root cause analysis, action item management, and followup to ensure thorough issue resolution.
- Provide prompt response to user requests and incidents, ensuring clear communication and escalation when necessary.
- Support endofday and endofmonth batch runs, disaster recovery tests, and security activities.
- Document operation procedures and contribute to the knowledge base to build expertise within the team.
- Analyze support processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to preventive system monitoring, alerting, and proactive maintenance measures. Communicate issue status and updates effectively to business users and management.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in JAVA/J2EE, Websphere/Tomcat/JBoss, ORACLE PL/SQL, UNIX/Linux/Windows.
- Familiarity with middleware technologies such as TIBCO EMS/BW/Admin, IBM MQ, and Informatica.
- Experience with ITSM tools like Service Now and database performance tuning.
- Understanding ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT messaging standards is advantageous.
- Good analytical skills, technical troubleshooting ability, and familiarity with Unix commands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of payments, local clearing systems, and ITIL concepts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Collaborative team player with a resultsoriented and clientfocused approach.
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and escalate when needed.
- Knowledge of COBOL is an added advantage.
