As the Lead Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include managing the technical aspects of the sales cycle, improving collaboration and best practices in the region, and ensuring that our products and services meet the needs of our customers and drive growth for the company.


You will work in a team environment, cross collaborating with Technical Trainer and Sales Engineers in South East Asia (SEA).

This will involve working with them to identify areas of strength and opportunity, providing guidance and support to help them meet their goals, and promoting collaboration and best practices across the region.


This role may require extensive travel within the South East Asia (SEA) region and to Axis' offices in South Asia Pacific (SAP) and HQ in Sweden.

The position can be based in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand or Vietnam.


What will you do- Manage Technology Integration Partners (TIP), Architects & Engineers (A&E), and trainings for the SEA.- Lead and manage Technical Trainer by providing guidance and coaching to help team to meet their goals.- Collaborating with Technical Trainer, Sales Engineers, and Technical Sales Engineer to identify gaps and challenges in technical skills for each country in SEA and develop plans to address them.- Provide monthly updates to Technical Trainers and Sales Engineers in the region, sharing best practices, ongoing projects, and technological advancements.- Serve as the main point of contact for liaising with Axis HQ and escalate any issues, as well as for escalation to management.- Stay up-to-date with competitive analysis across regions.- Continuously evaluate processes and procedures and suggest methods to improve area operations, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers.- Perform any other duties as assigned.


Who you are- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent- Minimum 8 years of pre-sales experience in IT and/or security channels within a multinational environment.- Experienced in people management is preferred Fluent skills in English (written and verbal) and other key language for the region are required.- Good organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Requirement to travel.
