Our client is actively searching for a Deputy Director, HR Faculty to join their team

The responsibilities of this role are:

  • Work with Senior Management and HR Director to develop key policies pertaining to Faculty Governance and work flows
  • Managing the tenure appointment process which include:Coordinating all reference letters
    Liaising with referees
    Preparing the tenure templates and writing all relevant tenure reports
    Supporting Senior Management in the tenure process
    Assist in the preparation of tenure cases
    Working with relevant government body and board committees on tenure appointments
  • Manage all faculty contract renewals and extension. Work with Senior Academic Leadership on the renewal, re-appointment or extension of faculty contracts. Develop relevant policies pertaining to contract renewals and extensions
  • Develop and refine tenure policies and other faculty related policies. Also work with HR team to develop and refine key HR Policies
  • Work with academic heads on the performance appraisals and review for faculty
  • Work with HR to ensure the integration of all the tenure processes with HR systems, compensation
  • Assist in faculty recruitment and other projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

  • Possess a Good Degree
  • Possess Public Sector and HR experience
  • Ability to draft policy documents to recommend sound policies
  • Strong Writing skills is a MUST
  • Must possess strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills, a team player who is self-driven, resourceful and meticulou
