Singapore NTU (Nanyang Technology University- Main Office-HR) Full time

As a strategic HR advisor, you will build strong partnerships with senior leaders and HR Centres of Excellence teams to develop and execute People Strategies and solutions for the College/Schools.

The HR Business Partnering team is structured to offer close support in three clusters: Schools/Colleges, Administrative, and Research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage and strengthen the capability and effectiveness of the HR Business Partners and Generalists team.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and managers in assigned Colleges/Schools/Centres.
  • Collaborate with Deans, School Chairs, Centre Directors, and NTU Shared Services - HR to develop and deliver HR solutions.
  • Provide professional advice on HR policies, employment legislation, performance management, recruitment, and rewards strategies.
  • Educate People Managers and employees on policy changes and implications.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of HR programmes for Faculty, Researchers, and Administration staff.
  • Launch and manage the Annual Performance Management cycle.
  • Provide expert advice and support employee relations matters.
Requirements:
  • At least 12 years of relevant HR experience, including 5 years in a supervisory/leadership position.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and ability to diagnose current state and recommend forward approaches.
  • Good understanding and practical application of local employment law and HR practices.
  • Collaborative, agile, and resourceful.
  • Strong initiative to drive changes.
  • Mindset for continuous improvement and service excellence.
