Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tender Manager to lead our bidding and tendering process for renovation projects in the private and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation, contract negotiation, and project planning, ensuring competitive and successful tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Tender Management & Proposal Preparation
- Manage the entire tendering process, from initial bid evaluation to final submission.
- Analyze tender documents, identify key requirements, and develop winning strategies.
- Prepare and submit competitive and compliant proposals within deadlines.
- Work closely with internal teams to gather project cost estimates, technical details, and scope of work.
✅ Cost Estimation & Pricing Strategy
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and develop accurate pricing structures.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for competitive pricing.
- Ensure tender proposals align with budgetary constraints and profitability goals.
✅ Contract Negotiation & Risk Assessment
- Review and negotiate contract terms to minimize project risks and maximize benefits.
- Identify potential contractual risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and safety standards.
✅ Stakeholder & Client Management
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to develop strong bids.
- Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and key industry partners.
- Provide regular updates and reports on tender progress and outcomes.
✅ Market Research & Process Improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and new business opportunities.
- Continuously improve tendering processes to enhance efficiency and success rates.
- Implement best practices to increase the company’s competitiveness in the market.
Requirements:
✔ Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in tendering, contracts, or project managementin the renovation or construction industry.
✔ Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of renovation project costs, materials, and timelines.
✔ Analytical & Negotiation Skills: Ability to analyze tender requirements and negotiate effectively.
✔ Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for proposal writing and client interactions.
✔ Detail-Oriented: Strong project planning and documentation skills.
✔ Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and tendering software, GeBIZ, TenderBoard
