Responsibilties With a focus on assigned new markets and utility scale or wind projects, originate, source and develop new business opportunities within APAC and see that these opportunities are pursued to their maximum potential, in collaboration with local BD teams where applicable. Perform market analysis to understand potential and pipeline of APAC markets, with demonstrated understanding of permits and licensing processes, as well as any relevant local knowledge for development of greenfield projects. Source and develop strong external relationships with key stakeholders in new markets. Establish knowledge of local networks (including EPC vendors, financial institutions among others) involved in the end-to-end process. Support pre-investment project evaluation, including interfacing with various parties (e.g technical team, financing team and project developer), and conducting site visits /meetings where required.) Prepare and present business case and investment recommendation analysis per company requirements. Further to front end business engagements and leads development, perform early-stage project management as required \xe2\x80\x93 such as leading the interface between internal team and business partners through the early execution phase of the project and ensure project execution is being conducted per expectation. Coordinate with project developers, internal teams such as E&C and authorities for development and execution of projects. Requirements Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or equivalent preferred At least 8 years experience, with at least 5 years in Renewable Energy sector and an understanding renewable energy project technical evaluation and project management Display good knowledge of the renewable (utility scale solar or wind) business regulations and trends/ industry practices, including understanding of energy and environmental issues, and administrative permitting process Understand financial modeling, and commercial activities such as PPA, funding arrangements and market legal requirements Experience in projects or business structuring for renewable business will be advantageous Ability to manage project development process with various stakeholders and suppliers Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Value alignment: stewardship, collaboration, innovation and with a spirit of excellence When you join EDPR, you will have access to: Professional experience in a leading global company in the renewables industry with flexible work conditions Recognition through remuneration compatible with the role and other additional benefits Opportunities for personal and professional development, e.g. cross-cutting projects, mobilities and volunteering Join a young team with ambitious plans and experience to achieved About EDP Group:
