What the role is:You lead the building of exercise networks, setting up of cyber defence toolsets for exercises, maintaining the computers (servers, end terminals), networking infrastructure (routers, switches), and testbeds/prototypes that are housed in the Cyber Defence Test and Evaluation Centre (CyTEC).What you will be working on:In addition, you lead in architecting network alterations to achieve federation goals between cyber ranges. You provide technical leadership for a group of personnel to build virtual networks using hyper-visor and virtualisation solutions (e.g., EXSI, VMware). These networks comprises of Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), and Military Operation Technology systems. You work closely with stakeholders to understand the technical and operational characteristics of the various networks to create similar network environment for the conduct of exercises. Your challenge lies in keeping abreast of new developments in IT (such as Cloud) and cyber range tools, to recommend new solutions to support current and future exercise network setup requirements.What we are looking for:You must have a tertiary qualification in Computer Networking, Computer Science, or related cyber disciplines, with at least 10 years\' work experience in a cyber environment, preferably as a full-stack developer, and certification in a relevant field (e.g. CCENT, Network+, CCNP, GDAT, GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, GREM, GPEN, GXPN, OSCP, OSCE). You must possess strong cyber fundamentals, leadership traits, good planning abilities and communication skills. You should also possess strong technical abilities in IT and OT Networks and system methodologies, and knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.
