Join Garda Capital Partners as a Senior Specialist or Director in our Business Development team at our Singapore office. Garda is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm with over 21 years of experience in relative value strategies across fixed income markets, serving institutional investors. Our primary offices are located in Wayzata, New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and Scottsdale.
The role involves managing the full cycle of talent acquisition, primarily for the investment team in Singapore, and supporting other regions and non-investment recruitment efforts. You will collaborate with the Human Capital Management (HCM) team on broader talent initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the macro hedge fund universe, excellent attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills to represent our team effectively internally and externally.
Position Responsibilities- Manage full cycle talent acquisition processes, including creating/updating job descriptions, sourcing, evaluating candidates, onboarding logistics, and immigration processes. Focus on investment talent in Singapore, with support for other regions and non-investment roles.
- Understand relevant trading strategies to evaluate investment talent effectively.
- Map buy-side and sell-side talent markets, building and maintaining relationships with key talent and recruiting firms.
- Provide market intelligence through networks and recruitment processes.
- Enhance recruitment strategies and processes.
- Collaborate with the HCM team and senior leaders to align talent strategies with business goals, culture, and growth plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or talent acquisition within hedge funds, trading recruitment, or hedge fund LP investing.
- Strong understanding of macro and multi-manager hedge fund landscapes, trading strategies, and financial instruments.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn/LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS systems like Greenhouse preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills with multitasking ability.
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; native-level English fluency.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, including overnight stays.
