Pre-Sales Engineer, Card Issuance & Payments (Remote) at Reap. This role is a technical voice in the growth story, partnering with the sales team to craft and showcase the value of Card Issuance and Payments platforms. This is a strategic role focused on winning new business and scaling expertise across the sales organization through enablement materials and training.
What You'll Do- Be a Product Evangelist: Master the technical intricacies of Reap's products and solutions, and deliver compelling, customized demonstrations that showcase their value for prospective clients.
- Solve Customer Challenges: Collaborate with the sales team to lead technical discovery sessions, understand a client’s business needs, and design tailored solutions that address pain points.
- Drive Technical Wins: Own the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from initial conversations and solution design to managing Proof of Concepts (POCs) that prove value and viability.
- Bridge the Gap: Serve as the technical liaison between prospective clients and internal teams, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation and providing market feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Build Relationships: Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building confidence in Reap's ability to meet current and future needs.
- Empower the Team: Create and maintain technical sales collateral, and train the sales team on new product features and the competitive landscape.
- Experience: 2+ years in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or similar client-facing technical role, ideally in FinTech, Payments, or SaaS.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the cards and payments ecosystem (card issuance, payment processing, etc.). Foundational understanding of cryptocurrency required; Web3 concepts are a plus.
- Technical Acumen: Comfortable discussing technical concepts, understands how APIs work, and can quickly learn new technologies.
- Exceptional Communicator: Ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear language for diverse audiences and present confidently.
- Problem-Solver: Curious, critical thinker who enjoys solving complex challenges.
- Collaborative Spirit: Works well with sales, product, and engineering teams.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field is a plus, but not required with equivalent experience.
- Languages: Fluency in English required; proficiency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Portuguese is a strong asset.
