Customer & Market Research Director at LSEG

The Director role in the Customer & Market Research function at LSEG is a pivotal position responsible for leading a team to develop data-driven solutions that provide actionable insights supporting the business objectives of the organization. As the Director, you will oversee the operational and executive-level reporting suite, focusing on performance measurement, product development, UX testing, and market surveys.

Your role will also involve guiding campaign planning and optimization across various areas of CAM, including marketing, communications, and sustainability, to support Sales and Account Management in achieving growth objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading researchers in conducting large-scale research studies within designated budgets and timeframes.
  • Managing a team of researchers, research leaders, programmers, analysts, and statisticians.
  • Acting as a knowledge expert and stakeholder ambassador.
  • Identifying research opportunities to add organizational value.
  • Planning internal and external resources for research projects.
  • Overseeing content production and thought leadership studies.
  • Reviewing complex client research deliverables.
  • Delivering customer experience monitors to stakeholders.
  • Managing budgets, vendors, and stakeholder relationships.

Ideal candidate:

  • Holds a degree or equivalent qualification with extensive research experience.
  • Proven track record in market research and customer insights.
  • Ability to design and deliver Thought Leadership projects.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical analysis into insights.
  • Experience in a mature Marketing Technology environment, familiarity with survey tools, automation, and machine learning.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services sector is desirable.
