Business Development Head

We’re seeking an experienced business development leader to drive the expansion of our premium food brand across key global markets. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with operational excellence, bringing a proven record in premium food categories and international go-to-market execution. Key Responsibilities Develop a 5-year global marketing and growth strategy: define priority markets and channels, portfolio architecture, pricing, and communication. Build and lead unified brand positioning across corporate and product brands. Manage the product portfolio across live/frozen formats, HORECA cuts, and retail SKUs. Define value propositions for chefs and retail buyers. Ensure packaging and labeling compliance with local regulations (FDA/USDA, EU, GCC, etc.). Market Entry & Channel Marketing Design and execute go-to-market strategies via distributors, importers, retail chains, and premium restaurants/hotels. Oversee trade marketing: promo calendars, tastings, chef collaborations, POSM, and partner training. Lead international pricing, revenue management, and trade spend optimization. Build price corridors, discount matrices, and ROI‑based promo investments. Co‑own volume and margin plans with Sales (S&OP). Digital & Demand Generation Drive B2B lead generation, content marketing, and thought leadership. Manage global digital assets (website, catalogues, CRM funnels) and develop market‑specific campaigns across LinkedIn, WeChat, Line, and Instagram. Sustainability & Market Compliance Ensure alignment with sustainability standards (MSC/ASC, traceability) and communicate the brand’s sustainability story effectively. Required Qualifications 5+ years of international B2B/B2B2C marketing experience in premium food (ideally seafood, frozen products, or premium proteins; FMCG acceptable). Proven record of market entry and scale‑up in Asia (China/Korea/Japan), GCC, or North America. Strong analytical and financial acumen: market sizing, channel pricing, unit economics, ROI, and P&L analysis. Experience managing distributors and trade marketing in HORECA and retail; working with chefs, catering companies, and retail chains. Fluent English (C1/C2); additional languages (Chinese, Korean, Japanese) are an advantage. Willingness to travel internationally (10–20%). Experience with cold chain logistics is essential.
