Moët Hennessy Travel Retail works in close relationship with its Duty-Free partners to deliver unique brand experience at the Airports and Downtown stores across the world. The Sales Director will lead the MH Travel Retail business in South East Asia and Australia & New Zealand, to develop the Moet Hennessy portfolio profitably and deliver outstanding value to our customers by driving sales and building brand image, delivering an outstanding brand statement and travelers’ experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business development and key account management

Be responsible for Profit and Loss for the SEA & ANZ markets Develop & nurture outstanding partnerships with both operators to support growth plans within his/her markets Drive joint business plans with key stakeholders of each travel retail operators and align on short mid, long term development plans Manage negotiations of commercial terms, assortment, visibility, investments, marketing plans for MH portfolio, agreements and partnerships with customers and ensure the highest quality of local implementation. Liaise and align with counterparts in other regions where these Global accounts are present ahead of negotiations and to ensure we speak as one team.

Business Performance

Elaborate, implement, and control budgets in accordance with the agreed brand plan (volume, Net Sales Income (NSI), Fund-to-Trade (FTT), Advertising & Promotion (A&P)). Prepare latest forecasts to achieve agreed profit and financial goals Manage and control the A&P budget by brand and by Market. Closely monitor their effectiveness and constantly optimize where possible. Monitor retail prices and ensure that regional price strategies are maintained Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, sales, market trends, concessions, etc. and share information as appropriate

Brand & Marketing

Partner with Marketing & Retail to drive the planning of all marketing initiatives, with a strong shopper/digital focus, to engage travelers across multiple platforms from pop-up opportunities to digital to increase the awareness of our brands. Lead team to manage and coordinate the implementation of brand and trade marketing programs and ensure all merchandising directives are implemented and maintained in line with Masons / GTR guidelines in his/her Markets

Retail Performance

Accountable for a consumer centric delivery of our brands in all channels: implementation of assortments per door, visual merchandising guidelines (planograms, signage etc..), flawless execution of activations and ensuring balanced stock on shelf. Direct, train, motivate and communicate with managers, supervisors, and Sales Ambassadors to ensure product knowledge training in place and to maximize performance; challenge and analyze effectiveness

T eam leadership and talent development

Build and lead a team that is geographically and strategically placed in the markets Coaching & developing & empowering the teams

Profile

Qualifications

At least 10 years of relevant experience in Luxury, Perfume & Cosmetics, Wines & Spirits, or FMCG Industry At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the Travel Retail Channel with Global International accounts a plus Thorough understanding of luxury goods industry and duty-free environment Experience in managing P&Ls, budgeting, business management, analysis and understanding skills Strong, proactive communication, negotiation, people management and motivational skills Build and lead a regional team given large geographical and cultural differences Ability to progress several divergent projects at the same time and manage well Ability to develop clear high level business presentations Highly motivated individual, energetic, team-builder with strong inter-personal skills Strong influencing skills, ability to manage several stakeholders with cultural sensitivity Commercially and strategically savvy, hands-on, ability to challenge status quo and drive value add Customer, results & solution focused, and action orientated Deal with ambiguity and priorities Willing to travel up to 20-30% of the time Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Design software a plus Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Asian Language/French is a plus
