About the role

Reporting to the Head of Beauty vertical Asia Pacific, this role will develop and maintain Bollore Logistics’ position among referenced customers as Key Accounts and guarantee the company’s operational and commercial commitments.

What you will be doing

1) Perform lobbying actions

  • Identify Key Account targets based in Asia Pacific region
  • Study and understands the Beauty Market industry by collating the widest knowledge possible (activities, market trends, changes, subsidiaries, decision structures…)
  • Work with Vertical lead to develop & capture market share among existing and targeted Beauty accounts with the ASPAC Region
  • Effectively Interact with our network to support overall Beauty development, and work with local sales teams in achieving targeted growth for each entity
  • Act as an internal consultant and share know-how about the Beauty vertical
  • Establish a referencing strategy for regional or international accounts (decision-makers, accounts mapping, lines of approach…)
  • Undertake necessary lobbying among prospects Key Accounts to promote Bollore Logistics and to obtain the opportunity to participate for future Tenders

2) Commercialize and argue Bollore Logistics sales offer

  • Represent Bollore Logistics to Key Accounts whose reporting needs a centralized and collaborative action (multi-scope)
  • Represent Bollore Logistics to lead and participate in tender process (RFP/RFI/RFQ)
  • Sell the whole Bollore Logistics services supported by internal expertise
  • Promote Bollore Logistics services and key Asia stations and regions
  • Implementing new business strategies to expand the Beauty vertical with new customer base and to secure target prospects

3) Provide consistent tariff offers

  • Determine a tariff policy in conjunction with Middle Office and Regional Sales Management and a consistent organization between various implicated sites
  • Establish, confirm and update Bollore Logistics tariff offers and write contracts in coordination with Legal Services
  • Answer to tenders with Tender Management Desk/ Contract Logistics Solutions Team, if needed
  • Participate in conjunction with Purchasing Department to negotiation among Suppliers

4) Service support

  • Transfer obtained contracts to Operations in order to ensure required customer quality service to customers
  • Support services or operation sites via appropriate information on SOP to apply
  • Intervene among sites and participate in dispute settlement
  • Monitor customer account profitability and problems linked to receipts with sites manager

5) Synthetize information through reporting

  • Consolidate statistical elements from various operation sites and achieve a monthly regional reporting vision of our business
  • Report sales actions undertaken to perpetuate and develop Bollore Logistics Key Customer Accounts
  • Participate to meetings settled by hierarchy
  • Update CRM with weekly activities and key accounts monthly reports

Requirements

The successful candidate

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related fields
  • At least 10 years experience in a fast paced and dynamic MNC environment
  • Experience in freight-forwarding/ contract logistics/warehousing business
  • Experience in Key Account management and development, preferably with network/contacts of decision makers in Asia Pacific
  • Strong sales skills, good analytical skills
  • Goal oriented and driven, motivated self-starter with excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
  • Positive, highly adaptable and possesses strong people skills
  • Able to adapt to different and difficult situations, people, countries
  • Be autonomous and work well in a team
  • Innovative and has the ability to provide value-added business solutions and alternatives
  • Strong communication skills, written and presentation skills in English (business communication)
