We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our HR team as a Human Resource Operations and Project Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in both the day-to-day operations of HR and the management of HR projects. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the HR function within an organization.

 

Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Employee Records:
  1. Update and maintain employee records, including contact information, emergency contacts, benefits elections, and performance reviews.
  2. Process new hire paperwork and onboarding documents.
  3. Manage and file employee personnel files electronically.
  • Benefits:
  1. Assist with benefits administration, including answering employee inquiries, processing enrollment forms, and maintaining benefits records.
  • Other Tasks:
  1. Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
  • Projects:
  1. Assist with the planning, executing, and monitoring of HR projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  2. Conduct research on HR-related topics, analyze data, and prepare reports and recommendations.
  3. Develop and write HR-related content, such as training materials, policy documents, and communication materials.
  4. Assist with HR events and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with basic HR principles and practices (a plus)
