About the role:The Global Account Director APAC is part of a global team servicing some of the largest businesses at TikTok. We are seeking a client-facing, customer service-oriented Global Account Director to lead the relationship with key regional APAC partners as part of their global relationship with TikTok. The Account Director will be a crucial member of a growing team that will support the Global Accounts Team in meeting its objectives and providing best-in-class account management and customer service to clients, both internal and external. This role is responsible for partnering with the Global Accounts and Local (country) Sales teams to fuel revenue growth, manage the successful implementation of contracts, ensure legal clearances, oversee financial and strategic incentives, and use data and analytics to build consultative solutions for our largest global brand partners, as well as map growth areas for our business. The Account Director will establish and strengthen key regional and local client relationships with a focus on supporting revenue, advertiser education, and internal sales team satisfaction. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about cross-functional account development, proficient in high-level strategic thinking, and adept at local market enablement. This role requires the ability to work across different time zones and cultures, and to bring a philosophy of client-centricity to the role both internally and externally. The successful candidate is a builder, intellectually curious, creative, entrepreneurial, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, strong in strategic thinking, and has deep experience in leading through influence. Key responsibilities:- Conduct regular business reviews and take a consultative, long-term approach to building productive relationships with clients, in collaboration with the global accounts and local sales teams.- Serve as an external product consultant, educating clients and agencies on product solutions and best practices.- Work and collaborate with a diverse group of internal cross-functional teams across the Consumer, Content, Product, and Revenue business units to drive organizational KPIs.- Proactively lead product update discussions, educate global brands on TikTok’s new and existing products, and advise on best practices to drive incremental business opportunities.- Global Reporting & Analysis: Ongoing deal management and fulfillment analysis of spend, seasonality, bonus allocations and fulfillment, market participation, and saturation.- Cross-Brand Sharing: Ensure learnings and innovation are shared across the accounts and global network, both internally and across functions.- Analyze account performance data to offer clients data-driven business insights, and at the same time, use those insights to improve our account and advertising offerings.- Collect and share marketplace feedback and guide our account strategy.- Support and work with the regional and local sales teams on pre-sale research and the pitch process, including collateral.- Develop and maintain C-level relationships with regional executives at a portfolio of global brands to educate and inform on the power of TikTok's platform and drive revenue opportunities.- Sustain close communication and alignment with clients and local sales counterparts to maximize client strategies and foster trust and collaboration.- Build 'ground up' comprehensive business plans, regional in nature and local in execution, that will drive top-line revenue growth.- Utilize experience to generate thought leadership and content associated with specific global brand needs, to drive repeat business and help increase existing direct revenue.- Partner with the internal Global Agency team to drive collaboration and synergistic advancement.

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in account management/client services roles in digital marketing.- Experience in managing a portfolio of advertisers with a deep understanding of their business and media challenges.- Excellent collaboration skills.- Global experience operating at global networks in previous roles and a deep understanding of nuances by countries and cultures.- Ability to analyze data and identify insights to assess business performance.- Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders.- Working knowledge of standard business software: Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Google Sheets, etc.- Experience with ad verification partners (IAS, DV, DAR, MOAT).- High attention to detail and very organized.- Self-starter, a fast learner with critical thinking skills.- Strategy development and consultative skills among sophisticated multinational organization's leadership.- Strategic with strong analytical skills; experienced in using quantitative and qualitative data, and can effectively convey insights.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which will be showcased while working with internal and external leadership.- Experienced in building commercial and growth strategies to drive hyper-growth at a brand, agency, or platform.- Passionate about TikTok.
