We are looking for a proven marketing leader who has a track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies, campaigns, and tactics to increase brand awareness and market share in a high-growth and opportunity-rich environment. This is the ideal role for a technology marketing leader who is not content with just managing a team, but working closely with sales, channels, global marketing colleagues and BDRs to plan and deliver programs that create relevant two-way interactions with influencers and decision makers of prospect, customer, and partner organisations to inform and influence their buying decisions and positively impact their relationship with Mimecast.

You are a strategic, yet hands on marketer, who is passionate about driving awareness and engagement to achieve regional pipeline targets for an award-winning technology company with ambitious growth plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a key part of driving Mimecast’s business growth in ASEAN, building on existing presence and ensuring the success of new markets by developing and delivering a best in class Marketing strategy.

  • Adopt a direct and hands on approach for the delivery of and driving increased revenues and profit targets for the region.

  • Work closely with Regional Sales and Channel to provide a unified, cross functional, go-to-market motion in ASEAN.

  • Align resources to ensure that the team is poised to work innovatively and grow the business. Serve as a catalyst for increased collaboration across the leadership team and business units. 

  • Develop an integrated marketing plan for specified geographies to drive pipeline acceleration and growth

  • Oversee the mix of activities required to both meet specified pipeline coverage targets and create a seamless user journey through the funnel

  • Manage and measure demand generation program effectiveness to help sales teams meet or exceed revenue goals

  • Track program ROI from lead source to closed/won or closed/lost opportunity status

  • Work with Marketing Operations to track program status, actions and metrics and communicate them across marketing and sales leadership.

  • Work with the portfolio marketing team to outline target accounts, ideal prospect profiles, competitive landscape, and strategies to successfully penetrate target markets

  • Coordinate with channel marketing to deliver a comprehensive approach for each territory

  • Coordinate with the rest of the marketing team to execute on local events and ABM programs

  • Manage the ASEAN marketing budget, accurately estimating costs, managing actuals, and ensure programs are on-time and on-budget.

What You'll Bring

  • A background in IT, ideally from a SaaS environment

  • At least 5 years strategic account management experience

  • A strong understanding of and experience in demand generation activities, both direct and through the channel

  • Experience working with GTM leaders to understand the needs of the sales and channel teams, and meeting those needs through effective partnership, strategy, and execution.

  • Fluency in funnel metrics and analysis and the ability to glean insights from reporting is critical.

  • Proven experience as a leader while being a strong team player who is willing and able to dive into the details.

  • Innovative thinking on how we can be successful, and able to bring solution-oriented new ideas

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Qualifications:

  • Degree Level education (preferred but not required)
