We are seeking an experienced marketing leader with a proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market share in a fast-growing environment. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy marketing professional who thrives on collaborating with sales, channels, global marketing teams, and BDRs to create impactful programs that engage influencers and decision-makers, influencing their purchasing decisions and strengthening their connection with Mimecast.

You are a strategic marketer who is also hands-on, passionate about driving awareness and engagement to meet regional pipeline targets for an innovative tech company with ambitious growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a vital role in Mimecast's business expansion in ASEAN, enhancing existing presence and ensuring the success of new markets through an exceptional Marketing strategy.
  • Take a direct, hands-on approach to boost revenues and profits in the region.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales and Channel teams to establish a unified go-to-market strategy in ASEAN.
  • Align resources for innovative work and business growth, promoting collaboration across leadership teams and units.
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan for specific regions to drive pipeline growth
  • Oversee a mix of activities to meet pipeline targets and enhance user journey through the sales funnel
  • Evaluate demand generation program effectiveness to support sales in achieving revenue targets
  • Monitor program ROI from lead source to opportunity status
  • Work with Marketing Operations to track program metrics and communicate results effectively
  • Collaborate with portfolio marketing to identify target accounts, prospect profiles, and market strategies
  • Coordinate with channel marketing to develop approaches for each territory
  • Work with the marketing team on local events and ABM programs
  • Manage the ASEAN marketing budget efficiently

What You'll Bring

  • Background in IT, preferably from a SaaS background
  • Minimum of 5 years in strategic account management
  • Strong experience in demand generation activities, direct and through channels
  • Ability to collaborate with GTM leaders to meet sales and channel needs effectively
  • Proficiency in analyzing funnel metrics and deriving insights
  • Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative and detail-oriented approach
  • Innovative thinking to drive success and introduce new ideas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Qualifications:

  • Degree level education (preferred, not mandatory)
