Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager on to join our Lifting Automation division within the RoW team. Responsible for managing and expanding our presence in the Asian region, which will include assisting our LA team located in India. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong sales background and a deep understanding of the Asian market. Working hand in hand with our partners and business units throughout the region. The ASM will report directly to Rhyss Harvey, VP Sales RoW.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth and profitability targets in the Asian region. Identify and establish relationships with potential customers, distributors, and partners. Manage existing accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer requirements. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management. Travel extensively within the region to meet clients and attend industry events (expectation of travel every 5-7 weeks). Develop and expand partnerships within the region to drive business growth. Oversee the operations of the LA division in India, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

3+ years of proven experience within export sales or business development Bachelor’s degree or higher within business, economics or similar Strong understanding of the Asian market and cultural nuances. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience from working with CRM system, preferably Salesforce. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in English; additional Asian languages are a plus. Willingness to travel extensively within the region (every 5-7 weeks). Experience in managing operations and partnerships in a diverse market like India is highly desirable.
