Position Overview

Overall process/execution owner of the NUHS IT Masterplan. Ensure alignment of IT CAPEX/OPEX/Institutional Services spending in alignment to the NUHS IT Masterplan.

Role & Responsibilities

Be the overall process/execution owner for the NUHS IT Masterplan. Work with internal/external stakeholders to formulate and communicate the various strategies and details pertaining to the NUHS IT Masterplan. To ensure governance for IT budget for the cluster, with alignment to the NUHS IT Masterplan. Lead the annual IT workplan and project budgeting for the Cluster. Develop and transform PMO processes and procedure to effectively manage and track the IT budget. Monitor and track Cluster’s IT budget and spending to ensure compliance and KPIs set forth in alignment to the NUHS IT Masterplan. Prepare regular Cluster wide financial status analysis, updates, forecast and reports to the management and relevant stakeholders. Liaise with external and internal parties on Cluster budget, spending, funding status and consolidate regular submissions on progress update and forecast. Undertake any request as directed by GCIO or Reporting Officer in alignment with Cluster budget objectives and goals. Manage and develop staff competencies to ensure a high performing team.

Requirements

Degree / Professional qualification in IT or Finance with 12 - 18 years of relevant working experience. Strong Program Management Skills. Strong financial modelling, analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills. Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence and maturity to interact effectively with people at all levels. Strong knowledge of information technology in the industry. Ability to align business needs with technology capability. Proactive, assertive and adaptable to change. Knowledge of Healthcare IT systems is an advantage. Advance knowledge and use of Microsoft tools (i.e. excel, powerpoint, word)
