You will be part of the HRBP team and will partner with the School Management Team on all matters relating to HR and faculty affairs in College of Business – Nanyang Business School.

Responsibilities:

HR Partnership

Partner and engage stakeholders and employees in a proactive and consultative approach on a full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management and developmentProvide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, performance management, recruitment and rewards strategiesPartner with HR Centre of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects such as performance management and promotional exercisesPartner with the School Management in analyzing and identifying issues and providing recommendations on HR solutions. 

HR Policies, Processes and Systems

Initiate improvements to internal HR processes, systems and communications towards enhancing service experienceEducate People Managers and employees on policy/system changes and implications, as well as understand and gather their feedback and input

Operational Excellence and Support on Faculty Affairs

Engage in manpower planning and projection of faculty and work with Finance Business Partners and HODs on manpower projections, budget and costings.Establish clear understanding of the recruitment needs and work closely with the Shared Services team and hiring managers to hire the appropriate talent on a timely basisPlan and manage faculty re-appointment, post-retirement, re-employment, Promotion and Tenure (PT) and Lecturers & Practice Track Promotion Exercise (LPPE) for various faculty tracksAssist in planning and implementing faculty performance appraisal exerciseSupport in the conceptualization and implementation of faculty development initiativesManage onboarding and off-boarding mattersProvide support on disciplinary or grievances mattersDrive key employee initiatives such as awards and welfare mattersAny other duties as assigned

 Requirements

Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant working experienceAble to multi-task and prioritize effectivelyOutstanding attention to detail, follow-up and organizational skillsGood communication skills both written and verbalAble to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels; handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion, while building trust and upholding confidentialityProficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Good knowledge of Employment Act and Work Pass regulations would be advantageousComfortable operating in a matrix structure and in a constantly changing environmentHiring Institution: NTU
