Sales representative for Aerospace products in Southeast Asia

Job Description:
MRO Sales Specialist- Southeast Asia will be managing 3M Aerospace product sales to the Airlines, 3rd party MRO’s and defense MRO in the region including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand. The primary responsibility of the candidate will be to drive business growth for 3M by focusing on new spec ins and competition conversions at the airlines leveraging our existing and new product portfolios.
Key responsibilities include:
Achieve sales objectives in the assigned territories and key accounts as per business requirements.
Maintain and improve our relationship with Airlines and act as primary liaison from 3M.
Work closely with application engineering team to identify new opportunities at end customers.
Gather market intelligence to understand industry trend, customer needs and competitive landscape of the region and communicate periodically to management.
Enhance our channel presence in the region to ensure product availability.
Work closely with internal stake holders like supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of products to channel partners.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or above
Previous experience working with an airline or 3rd party MRO as an aircraft engineer in maintenance of structural/exterior segment, Interior/cabin segment will be added advantage.
Proven and consistent track record of increasing and exceeding sales objectives
Experience in industrial sales with an engineering background.
Excellent communication skills and exhibits exemplary teamwork.
Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams
Highly motivated, self-driven and can work independently to achieve goals.
