**The role**
We are looking for an Innovation Engagement Manager to join our Innovation team in our Global Logistics Division. You will be responsible for creating networks accelerating corporate innovation transformation by engaging with communities and building connections across the company, customers, technology partners and start-ups to drive growth and impact. You will lead internal engagement activities and create innovation content to excite and encourage collaboration with business functions to drive value.
As the Innovation Engagement Manager, you will:
- Create framework and inspiring content across communication channels to tell the Toll innovation story and showcase the company’s investment and commitment to developing logistics solutions for the future
- Adapt and regularly update the Global Innovation Centre’s content exhibits and use cases, in close alignment and cooperation with the Research and Development team, Toll business units and industry technology experts and start-ups
- Deliver customised Global Innovation Centre engagements such as guided visits workshops, technology talks to enable external visitors to explore emerging technology trends and use-cases, encourage open collaboration and co-develop new solutions. Develop and track engagement metrics and feedback
- Create internal innovation content and use a range of channels to share innovation insights, successes and thought leadership (social media, videos, articles/blogs)
- Establish and execute an engagement and communication plan that includes stakeholders and innovation team to collaborate closely on a regular basis. Organise open innovation opportunities such as thought leadership speaking engagements, hackathons and start-up mixers
**Qualifications**:
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in communications, business and marketing, innovation & technology management
- Minimum 8 years of experience in managing professional communities, creating engagement content for business audience and/or similar. Previous experience in corporate ventures /tech / digital agencies a plus.
- Very strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Knowledge and experience of innovation approaches and activities (e.g., hackathons, challenges)
- Familiarity with innovation and experimental processes
