As APJ Executive Engagement Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the AWS Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) sales organization with the responsibility of maximizing success of interactions between senior executives from AWS and our key customers. This includes conceptualizing and launching new executive engagement programs, proactively identifying and facilitating executive meetings, reviewing meeting briefing documents from a commercial and exec communications perspective, and ideating reporting mechanisms that demonstrate executive engagement performance. You will be a trusted partner and primary point of contact for executive engagements supporting our sales leadership teams.
A day in the life
The Innovation and Engagement team is the primary custodian of the business strategy dialogue, steward of key growth acceleration and innovation projects as part of the VP office for APJ AGS. The team works backwards from market forces to build the vision and business strategy for APJ, informing the big go-to-market (GTM) and nurtures customer innovation through the Innovation Hub and supports experimentation to capture and accelerate growth.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Highly organized, capable of multi-tasking workstream priority of competing stakeholder requests
