The Innovation Manager will report to the Director. The Innovation Manager will independently drive assigned grant-funded projects to commercial impact. The Innovation Manager will have hands-on management and mentoring experience to drive the projects to commercial success. The Innovation Manager will also take a leadership role in our training, education, and mentoring initiatives to help advance deep technology to commercial impact. Responsibilities will include:

- Manage grant program
- Evaluate potential projects for impact potential
- Mentor teams to drive their projects to company formation
- Design and Teach entrepreneurial coursework
- Build and maintain an entrepreneurial network
- Build and maintain investors' network
- Actively engage in the Singapore innovation ecosystem

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering or Science
- Knowledge of product development and company formation and financing
- 3-5 years experience in incubation or commercialization organization, i.e., Incubators, IEO (Innovation & Enterprise Offices)
- Passion for mentoring faculty, researchers, and postdocs and help drive research to impact through company formation
- Experience in Deep Tech commercialization and knowledge of the start-up company ecosystem
- Familiarity with the academic environment
- Energetic, proactive, and achievement-oriented
- Demonstrate excellence in communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to influence and collaborate with others
- Good judgment in handling confidential matters
- Interpersonal understanding and organizational awareness
- Highly motivated manager and willing to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the Singapore business community is preferred
- Able to collaboratively with individuals from all administrative and research levels
