You will be part of a team that undertakes the planning, implementation and review of MINDEF/SAF’s innovation objectives and outcomes. On this, you champion the understanding of organisational requirements and user needs to design, develop and scale processes, services and products. You also seek out opportunities to enhance innovation, digital and data proliferation and adoption, as well as collaborate and co-create with business owners and expertise to amplify work efficacies, encourage a culture of experimentations, and incentivise new ways of thinking and working. Your challenge lies in keeping abreast and making sense of new developments and practices in the Public Service, academia and industry to ensure sound recommendations to better meet organisational and user needs.
You must have tertiary qualification, preferably with 6 years' work experiences in organisational transformation and innovation fields, with knowledge in business digitalisation, human-centred design, communications, and change management. You should possess good project and stakeholder management skills, empathetic, eye for details, with analytical and critical thinking to facilitate collaborations with fellow colleagues and other public agency officers. You understand business and product development principles, have agile mind-set and approach to all aspects of daily work. You can work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment to enable rapid delivery of relevant solutions. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
