Sales Executive, Key Account Management, Singapore

ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for optimising sales income from all assigned accounts to achieve business objectives and targets within a specified Territory or Industry Sector, working closely with the Sales Team and other functional business areas. Primary focus is to build effective relationships within portfolio high opportunity accounts and drive significant incremental sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership to drive and achieve sustainable sales and exceed sales targets from assigned portfolio
- To identify, analyse and penetrate a portfolio of high sales growth opportunity accounts
- Support Marketing campaigns to drive activity and sales
- Develop an in depth understanding of the customer, their markets and competitors
- Provide solutions to meet customer needs by the implementation of relevant and cost-effective value-added services
- Build and use internal and external networks to ensure customer satisfaction and drive activity at site level
- Build, maintain and enhance relationships with all key influencers and decision makers within new and existing customers to consistently strive to develop new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
- REQUIREMENTS_
- Results driven and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Minimum 3 years proven track record in industrial field sales, including key account management
- Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels with excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Commercial awareness, particularly around the cost of acquisition
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good planning, prioritisation and time management skills
- Shows evidence of all the behaviours - RS The Way We Work
- Understanding of procurement strategies within a business environment and able to articulate value solutions to support customer needs
- A thorough understanding of the Singapore business environment, broad industry knowledge, industry drivers and trends
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Experience in engaging with Senior Management of companies
**Desirable**:
- Understanding and experience of e-commerce solutions within a B2B environment
- Used to working in a global business
- Project management and Automation and Control experience an advantage
