**Job Description: Hospitality Manager**

Join our crew Founded in 2018, Alpha Marine (Trading as “Discover Sailing Asia”) was started to encourage everyone to embark on their own sailing adventure. In Singapore, we are currently best known for hosting sailcations and short trips on our yachts.

We have 4 fabulous Yachts and a small but close knit team of 25 employees strong You are welcome to join our family

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- To ensure the vessel under your command is in a safe and seaworthy condition and ready for charter.
- Asset Management: Monitor processes related to asset preservation, life-cycle optimization, preventative maintenance and repair keep the vessels in high level of performance within an optimised cost of operations.
- Process Development: To review and lead continuous improvement on management process and system implementation. Highlight issues and propose solutions on management process and system.
- Incident Management: Report incidents and other items of concern to the management for decision.
- Team Management: Allocate proper resources to the fleet team. Identify training needs, develop programmes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Clients Handling: Keep the Clients advised of problems which arise on their ships and to develop relationships with the Clients and through regular contact to ensure customer satisfaction is being achieved.
- Take on adhoc projects or duties as and when assigned by Management

**Competencies/ Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of maritime operations, technical requirements and international regulations would be a plus point
- Strong analytical and planning skills, project management and time management skills
- Committed to vigorous quality and cost control
- Excellent decision
- making skills
- Skilled organiser and communicator at all levels
- Demonstrated strong leadership and people management skills
- Good negotiator and is able to manage and maintain relationships with Clients.
- PPCDL/ Steersman/ Helmsman licence
- At least 5 years of relevant experiences with strong technical background in a senior position within the fleet management industry with exposure in managing Sailing Yachts will be a plus point.
