As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. Reporting directly to the General Manager/Owner, you will oversee all front-of-house activities, manage a team of service staff, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable dining environment, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver exceptional service and culinary experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Front-of-House Operations**:

- Oversee all aspects of front-of-house operations, including greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and coordinating table assignments to ensure optimal use of dining space.
- Monitor dining room activity, anticipate guest needs, and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and decor.
- **Team Leadership and Development**:

- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders, to deliver exceptional hospitality and personalized service to guests.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to empower staff to excel in their roles and achieve operational goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment built on mutual respect, open communication, and teamwork.
- **Guest Relations and Customer Service**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, anticipate their preferences and preferences, and exceed their expectations through attentive service, personalized recommendations, and genuine hospitality.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively and diplomatically, demonstrating a commitment to resolving issues and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Act as a brand ambassador for [Your Restaurant Name], promoting our unique culinary offerings, special events, and promotions to enhance guest loyalty and drive repeat business.
- **Financial Management**:

- Assist the General Manager/Owner in developing and implementing operational budgets, revenue projections, and cost-control measures to optimize profitability and achieve financial targets.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, POS system protocols, and inventory management processes to minimize shrinkage and maximize profitability.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic dining environment for guests and staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, restrooms, and service stations to identify and address any potential hazards or cleanliness issues promptly.
- Provide staff with proper training and resources to uphold hygiene standards and implement best practices for food handling, storage, and preparation.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hospitality establishment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of service professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on building rapport with guests, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive dining experience.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including reservations management, table service protocols, and beverage service standards.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Food Safety and/or Alcohol Service is a plus.
