**Overall Job Responsibility**:
The Service Development (Employment) Division aims to enhance and increase employment and employability opportunities for persons with disabilities. The team works with private and public employers, industry partners, social service agencies, and stakeholders such as Special Education Schools, Institutes of Higher Learning and hospitals, to design and implement pilot initiatives to further this cause.
One of the pilot initiatives include the Enabling Business Hub (EBH) which is a regional hub that brings training and work opportunities closer to where persons with disabilities live, offering job training and job support around the region to all persons with disabilities, including those with higher work support needs.**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of EBH with the service providers and tenants.
- Develop and build relationships with industry leaders and associations to support inclusive hiring.
- Collate and aggregate data from a variety of sources.
- Develop and implement initiatives to address gaps such as the unreached persons with disabilities.
- Work with other business units to develop programmes and initiatives that will align with EBH’s purpose.
- Provide support in corporate planning matters such as updates/reporting to the Ministry, Board, budget and workplans, as well as speeches, media releases and presentations.
**Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**:
- A good degree and track record, although fresh graduates are welcomed too.
- Strong command of English. Able to write, present and communicate well.
- Possess strong problem solving skills and meticulous.
- Team player.
- Adaptable to changing circumstances and versatile to take on other roles when called upon.
