- Establish and maintain a robust AML governance framework, including management information;
- Respond to functional teams’ enquiries on documentation submissions and procedures, making sure that they are adhered to regulatory requirements;
- Oversee and implement AML program at Country level, for example customer onboarding KYC, transaction monitoring and sanctions screening processes;
- Provide support to senior management to ensure that AML/ CTF risks are adequately identified, understood and managed, in particular to communicate key AML/ CTF issues including significant compliance deficiencies;
- Ensure compliance with mandatory reporting requirements with relevant regulators and relevant internal and external stakeholders;
- Continuously develop and review the AML/Sanctions/ CTF systems to ensure that they remain up-to-date, meet current statutory and regulatory requirements and are effective in managing AML/ CTF risks arising from the business;
- Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed;
- Deliver regular AML/ CTF and sanctions training to staff to promote compliance culture.
**Position Requirement**
- 10-12 years of relevant AML/CFT, sanctions and/or regulatory compliance experience;
- Experience in e-commerce, lending, payments, big 4 consulting firm, regulator or banking is a strong advantage;
- Able to build AML/CFT framework from ground up and see to implementation, and able to articulate AML concepts clearly to non-AML stakeholders;
- Strong knowledge of AML regulations and standards;
- Holder of AAMLP, CAMLP or ACAMS preferred;
- A team player and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multiplate teams located in different jurisdictions and under strict deadlines;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin desirable;
- Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills;
- Adaptable and able to work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment; and - Willingness to travel occasionally.
