- Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across Southeast Asia and other geographies in the technology and digital commerce spaces;
- Lead execution of investments across a variety of deal structures, including but not limited to sector and company assessment, due diligence, negotiation, transaction documentation and deal closing;
- Manage and support portfolio companies, monitoring the operation and financial performance of existing investments, shaping the ongoing strategy with the portfolio companies;
- Through deep research and analysis, as well as working with internal business teams to shape the international investment strategy that supports the growth of Alibaba International Digital Commerce (AIDC). The investment manager will have exposure to work closely with senior management at all business units within AIDC to accomplish these objectives.
**Position Requirement**
- Minimum 5 years of work experience, with prior investment experience in Southeast Asia as a plus;
- Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of financial statements;
- Drive, entrepreneurial, intellectual curiosity and excellent interpersonal skills;
- The position will be based in Singapore or Jakarta, Indonesia.
