**What you’ll do**

As the Business Executive, you’ll be responsible for sales and marketing for a Respiratory & Immunology (R&I) brand. Committed to delivering innovative R&I solutions, you will exhibit AstraZeneca’s pro-active value propositions to discover new business opportunities and actively influence clinical demands through engagement programmes while fostering long-term relationships with stakeholders. An originator, you will be responsible for brand success by employing cross-functional engagement strategies, exploring new and innovative approaches to brand communications, and responding to constructive feedback internally and externally_._

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
Marketing (approximately 30%) - in collaboration with Brand Manager:

- Insight generation to shape and direct strategic marketing actions & plans for adequate product lifecycle management
- Assists and ensures a successful execution of the brand plan for long-term brand success
- Assists with the development of budgets and monitoring of expenses
- Develops materials for the sales force to support effective sales effort and educate sales representatives on company and competitor products
- Propose innovative solutions around customer engagement through various channels

Sales (approximately 70%):

- Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
- Engage specialty care healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
- Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
- Develop clear country value propositions for patients and healthcare

Others:

- Project manager for select strategic projects.

**Essential Requirements**
- Valid Class 3/3A driving license
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ pharmaceutical sales experience
- Excellent operational skills and ability to think strategically
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, organised, results-oriented and independent
- Broad understanding of the commercial, operational, and strategic aspects of the pharmaceutical business
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

**Desirable** Requirements**
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capability
- Brand management experience in the pharma industry
- Experience in utilizing latest digital tools & trends to improve customer reach & engagement
