IT Infrastructure Specialist

**Your role**:

**Mission**
This role is responsible for the efficient and effective IT infrastructure operations of the Data Centers required to support the needs of the organization and its employees in both Singapore and Taipei offices. It includes project management and execution for infrastructure enhancement, maintenance and deployment.**Key Responsibilities**
- Management of IT infrastructure (Servers, VM infrastructure, Network, Firewall, Storage, Backup, Security, Appliances etc.) and facility (Aircon, UPS, FM200, Cabling, Physical Security etc.) in both production and disaster recovery Data Centers
- Manage and execute infrastructure projects in coordination with Group Technical SMEs
- Provide daily support to the IT and Logistics team relating to infrastructure related incidents, service calls, requests, queries, feedback or complaints. Conduct daily health checks on the local infrastructure and coordinate with the Group on the identified events or incidents
- Provide physical security infrastructure and administration support, in collaboration with local security vendor and building management
- Continuously determine ways to improve operations, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly with various teams to provide quality service. Ensure project implementations and operations are aligned to the Group technology standards and policies
- Manage the IT DR and BCP exercise to ensure the operational readiness of the organization’s disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities in the event of a major disaster or crisis
- Provide, as a team, standby support services for IT & Logistics infrastructure activities/incidents that occurred after office hours
- Maintain all infrastructure equipment inventory and maintenance contracts to ensure valid support coverage, and to keep documentations up to date and ensure that security patches are implemented timely
- Provide procurement support for infrastructure equipment in terms of vendor sourcing, quotation evaluation and recommendation, and verifying invoices relating to IT services
- Support other related tasks and duties that may be assigned

**Your profile**:

- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
- 10+ years of working experience, of which, minimum 5 years in a similar role or position
- Proven working experience in the infrastructure support or engineering area
- Ability to independently work on and deliver Infrastructure Projects and perform maintenance activities
- Competent in Microsoft products, VMware, LAN & WAN, Backup & Storage, Security, Telecommunication, Video Conferencing, Voice Recording, and IT Project management
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in HPE Server and 3PAR Storage, Dell EMC Server, Storage and Backup, Extreme and Dell network switches, Fortinet and Checkpoint firewall, Microsoft Teams, and VMware vSphere
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills and takes initiative and ownership of assigned tasks
- Customer-service oriented, a self-starter and team player, and able to commit to high standard with ability to work independently, efficiently, and innovatively
