The Lead Specialist ensures the vision of MICE and Cruise infrastructure development are met so that Singapore remains relevant and future-ready to capitalise on the growth in the MICE and Cruise business. For the MICE portfolio, this involves managing current assets, which will include leading additions and alterations works to future-proof existing infrastructure and ensure it is fit-for-use; driving discussions on lease management contracts etc. For the Cruise portfolio, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders (including government agencies and private entities) to plan, coordinate and drive the implementation of future Cruise infrastructure developments.

As Project Lead, you will be responsible for various projects under the MICE and Cruise infrastructure portfolios. This will require you to:

- build an in-depth understanding of the MICE and Cruise infrastructure landscape
- oversee the lease, and addition and alteration works of existing MICE infrastructure
- develop and drive short to long term Cruise infrastructure implementation plans
- build effective networks and partnerships with public and private sector
- report and present to management and relevant authorities when required

**Main Responsibilities**

MICE: Oversee existing MICE infrastructure to ensure Singapore maintains our position as a leading MICE destination.
- To drive and oversee all addition and alteration works of existing MICE infrastructure, including obtaining necessary approvals/budget, calling tenders to appoint multi-disciplinary consultants, overseeing the works, liaising with relevant authorities and operator etc.
- To lead discussions on lease matters eg. extension of lease, change of use etc. with government agencies and the operator to ensure smooth operations.

CRUISE: Plan and develop future Cruise infrastructure to ensure Singapore maintains our position as a leading homeport.
- To work closely with government agencies and private sector stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and drive the implementation of future Cruise infrastructure.
- To support the tender for the appointment of external consultants for the development of future Cruise infrastructure.
- To work with appointed external consultants to ensure the timely development of future Cruise infrastructure, including obtaining required approvals from authorities and overseeing of technical studies and design workshops.

**Job Requirements**
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, demonstrating the ability to identify, analyse and synthesise information.
- Involvement in architectural, urban planning and building construction projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be needed to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in relevant fields such as Infrastructure Project Management, Urban Planning/Design, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Some knowledge of the MICE and Cruise industries is a good to have, but not necessary.
