As a Deputy Director (Business & Industries Engagement), you will be part of the Global Group of the Singapore Business Federation to help Singapore companies Learn, Land, and Localise overseas.

You will support SBF Global Group in two key functions: (1) Oversee the Industries Engagement (IE) team and manage the team strategy, (2) Engage and provide internationalisation assistance to companies in the business community, and (3) Formulate and implement the IE Team strategy relating to the relevant sector, including strategic planning, engagement of key stakeholders, and business community.

You will also provide support to SBF Management on any other tasks assigned.

**Responsibilities**:
A) Oversee the Industries Engagement team and manage the team strategy.

This includes but not limited to:
1) Annual review on the sectors IE team would focus on

2) Develop annual workplan with the team

3) Guide the development of the engagement strategy for the targeted sectors.

4) Manage and guide the team to fulfil their workplan and corporate KPIs

B) Engage and provide internationalisation assistance to companies in the business community.

This includes but not limited to:
1) One-to-one company consultation session

2) Collaboration with colleagues in the Global Group or with external partners

C) Formulate and implement the IE Team strategy relating to the relevant sector, including strategic planning, engagement of key stakeholders, and business community.

This includes but not limited to:
1) Develop and execute the annual workplan, and fulfil corporate KPIs

2) Develop engagement strategy. This could include active and passive outreach, building the community, and regular engagement with existing clients

3) Organize outreach events (online and offline) and activities

4) Engage with stakeholders in the ecosystem (i.e. TACs, Agencies, private firms, etc)

**Job Requirements**
- At least 8 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of the needs of SMEs in their internationalisation journeys and able to offer advisory services
- Knowledge on infrastructure, built environment, water and waste, sustainability, or foodtech is an added advantage
- Detail oriented and highly organised
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in engaging stakeholders
- Self-motivated and positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a team player
