As a Deputy Director, Business Development and Bid Management, you will be reporting to Senior Executive Director, SMM Business Unit. Your primary role is to facilitate the governance process through conducting reviews; risk assessments; financial practices; independent feedback to support approvers; decision making and meaningful analysis of pursuit trends/win/loss to facilitate business strategies.Lead in marketing and sales activities for Facilities Management services- Manage customers relationship management, including enquires- Monitor tenders advertised in various platforms- Monitor market trends, changes in legislations and technology development influencing buyers (opportunities)- Monitor competitors and suppliers (threats)- Assist SED and CE in developing strategies and tactics to grow revenue- Monitor proposals have obtained internal clearance in accordance with SJ guidelines and procedures before it is released to potential buyers- Manage document control of bids and NDAs for its storage and disposal- Manage the health and welfare of team members- Assist SED, SDs and Directors in executing plans (e.g. budget, workplan) and activities of important to the company- At least 10 years of experience in project delivery and relevant working experience in the Facilities Management industry- Experience in bidding for Singapore Government project tenders and/or overseas project tenders (added advantage)- Ability to work independently under stringent timeline with mínimal supervision- Ability to be agile, meticulous, outspoken and resourceful- Good communication skills, able to engage with the different stakeholders, both internal and external- Strong business/commercial acumen and analytical skills in risk management- Teamwork leadership to guide and harmonise the sales/marketing and bid teams for synergistic outcome and success- Due to security clearance requirements, only Singaporeans can be considered
