**What the role is**
- The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) provides services for the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders and the protection of children and families. We are passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of these children, youths and families and are looking for like-minded individuals who share the same passion as us to join our dynamic and life-changing team. As part of the RPG family, the Child Protective Service (CPS) provides statutory intervention and leads in child protection policies and planning to safeguard the safety and well-being of children and young persons in Singapore. Our work remains firmly rooted in keeping children safe from harm and safeguarding their welfare, in collaboration with the families and communities we work with.
**What you will be working on**
- The Coordinating Deputy Director assists to oversee the strategic planning and operation of the Child Protective Service. This is achieved through capability building and community involvement efforts, process innovation, organisational development, and optimising operations and resources. As a Coordinating Deputy Director, you will: a) Oversee investigation and intervention operations within the Child Protective Service to safeguard children’s safety and wellbeing b) Oversee case review, supervision and coaching to operation supervisors c) Drive the development, implementation, and reviews of operational policies and processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency d) Build and sustain collaborative working relationship with key partners to safeguard children’s safety and wellbeing e) Spearhead the development and operationalisation of major developmental projects at ministry level
