Deputy Director (Digital Strategy & Transformation - Business) Join to apply for the Deputy Director (Digital Strategy & Transformation - Business) role at Ministry of Defence of Singapore What The Role Is You lead and formulate strategies to deliver effective business transformation and digitalisation in MINDEF/SAF. Responsibilities Drive digital strategy for MINDEF/SAF Identify business value of digitalisation Design user service journeys Develop implementation roadmaps Transform MINDEF/SAF digital service delivery in various business domains (e.g., Human Resource, National Service, Logistics, Learning, Medical) Collaborate with other government agencies on whole-of-government digital initiatives Work with management and stakeholders to drive business and digital transformation Challenges Balancing innovation with organisational needs and constraints Navigating complex stakeholder landscapes across MINDEF/SAF and other government agencies Keeping pace with rapidly evolving digital technologies and their applications Aligning digital transformation with broader organisational strategies and goals Qualifications Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field At least 10 years of relevant work experience in planning and business operations Experience in policy framework formulation or IT implementation is preferred Well-versed in strategy development and planning Competent with digital technologies Familiar with design thinking methodologies Strong leadership and communication skills Good organisational acumen Ability to engage effectively with leadership, stakeholders and engineering staff Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
