Overview:

- The Senior Account Manager (Life Sciences) position will be responsible for:

- Achieve sales and customer satisfaction within the designated territory in Singapore.
- Managing and growing the business in the given territory

**Responsibilities**:
**Financial/Sales**
- Achieve sales, marketing and financial objectives in assigned territory
- Develop business plan and sales strategy for assigned territory to achieve company sales goals and profitability
- Drive growth in revenue and increase market share through workflow selling and consumables conversion
- Promote maximum usage of Bio-Rad products on all systems in given customer sites
- Timely submission of accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts to Sales Manager
- Responsible for coordinating between customers and other departments in the company to ensure customer satisfaction at all times and reports promptly to the Sales Manager of any circumstance where this is not occurring

**Marketing**
- Maintain excellent market knowledge of all major prospects and local competitor activities and report this information to the Sales Manager and marketing team
- Advise on and recommend product marketing strategies including promotion, advertising, pricing and distribution and marketing event
- Liaise with Product Manager/Specialist in the formulation of sales strategies, manage relationships with key opinion leaders across product portfolio

**Product Support**
- Liaise with Field Application team in relation to planning, evaluations, demonstrations, installations and post-sales support (secondary responsibility)
- Liaise with Service Dept to ensure instruments meet specifications and that appropriate levels of maintenance and service is achieved

**Administration**
- Responsible for conforming to ISO guidelines

**Self-Development**
- Take ownership of personal development growth
- Implement an Individual Development Plan

Qualifications:
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum Degree in Medical or Biomedical/Biosciences.
- Motivated and results driven
- Sales hunter mindset
- Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach in work
- Proven customer relationship building skills
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Strong analytical skills in analyzing information, problem solving and decision making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- High level of skills in computer literacy e.g. Microsoft Office

**Experience**
- Excellent technical and practical knowledge of technologies used in Life Sciences
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with proven track records
- Proven ability to prepare, implement and monitor business plans
- Demonstrate experience in “Consultative Sales Process”
- Prior experience in managing Life Science academic research/Biopharma/Biotech accounts
