**Purpose of the Job**:
This role will work closely with the VP for Marketing, APAC and the wider team to build and deliver an impactful marketing and communications strategy that supports core business objectives in APAC.

Delivering campaigns that speak to both B2B and B2C audiences primarily within the financial services and travel sectors, the role focuses on strong thought-leadership led content, engaging PR, impactful events and executive profiling and communications, all with the aim of supporting lead generation and brand awareness.

You’ll work with our regional and global marketing teams, regional functional teams, as well as our PR agencies and third-party associations to deliver a calendar of multi-channel activities that help win new clients, grow existing accounts and support new propositions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Enhance, evolve, and execute our regional external communications strategy targeted towards key audiences, being the driving force behind the content that feeds our ‘always on’ calendar of multi-channel campaigns.
- Lead the regional PR strategy and delivery; manage our PR agencies in region and newswire service to build a strategic media engagement plan that leverages the broader content strategy - bringing it to life in new and creative ways that ‘go beyond the press release’ (for instance, considering paid and organic media and blogger engagements, live broadcast opportunities and media roundtables)
- Position select C-Suite employees as informed, inspired and engaging thought leaders through executive profiling - from LinkedIn content, media engagements and event speaking opportunities, to filmed client case studies - the approach will ensure target audiences recognise key Collinson International executives, ensuring the brand is relatable and personable.
- Working alongside the Marketing Communications Manager in APAC, develop and execute a regional event strategy, aligned to commercial objectives. Be it sponsorship of an industry event, a media roundtable, or a client event with our top 15 global accounts - the plan will help align key stakeholders behind a focused approach, aligned to the wider content strategy and enable the brand to engage with key clients and prospects in a meaningful way.
- Take the lead on crisis / incident communications, aligning key stakeholders behind a well-crafted communications plan - including reactive and proactive statements, as the situation require - with the aim of controlling evolving narratives.
- Work with the APAC and Global Marketing teams to provide inputs into global brand campaigns and support with the adaptation and localisation of assets, messaging and campaigns for our key audiences in region.
- Contribute to measuring, monitoring and reporting against the effectiveness of marketing communications activities, regularly communicating to key stakeholders across the business.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- At least 8 years of marketing communications experience of working in a business with multi-functional teams and a large portfolio of products and services. Strong experience in PR, communications and events required.
- Extremely creative and collaborative, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work strategically, challenge constructively and translate ideas and complicated topics into easily digested content that resonates with the intended audience
- University degree in marketing, communications and/or equivalent professional qualification
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a dynamic and growing business
- Ability to demonstrate ROI and learnings from the ownership of marketing plans, activities and budget
- Self-motivated with high level of initiative and strong sense of ownership
- A team player and people manager who works effectively with, and can positively influence, team members at all levels.
