Sembcorp is the one-stop renewable energy partner. Trusted solutions backed by the operational and technical expertise of a leading renewable energy player We are looking for a Commercial Lead to join us in the journey towards net zero.

The individual will be accountable for driving growth in revenue; negotiating and closing transactions with both buyers and sellers; and building an active sales pipeline. This role plays the key figure to support our customers identify the right products and solutions to achieve their sustainability goals.

**KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the acquisition of new customers and managing a portfolio of existing customers and building strong, trusted relationships
- Drive revenue growth, aligned to the company’s target
- Identify new trading/revenue opportunities and appeal to new network of buyers
- Origination, structuring and execution of proposals and commercial deals for origination and spot procurements for various carbon credit commodities from various credit providers
- Ensure high-quality standard of customer services and anticipating customers’ expectations and goals
- Design and lead customer communication and spearhead marketing activities

**PREFERRED SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
- Experience in business and partnership development, sales, broker role or B2B sales in the Commodity/Financial markets; with a strong track record of sales, origination and relationship management
- Experience in buy and/or sell-side of carbon credit market advantageous
- Knowledge of carbon markets, corporate sustainability and with understanding of market dynamics in the carbon market (compliance and/or voluntary)
- Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset; comfortable in start-up environment
- Strong Sales Excellence mindset with drive to exceed targets
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong passion in sustainability
