Maria Christina Gunawan – Senior Manager, Cargo Flow Management Direct reports: None Job Purpose: Responsible for coordinating cargo flow and allocations, ensuring maximum utilization of vessels based on commercial priorities and optimal customer care. Establish and maintain a highly professional relationship with stakeholders within the organization, acting as a liaison between commercial, sales management, and operational line management. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Assist the Cargo Flow Manager in managing the Daily Booking Report (DBR). Monitor DBR bookings and forecast progress daily in conjunction with agencies/offices. Monitor vessel allocation versus utilization—current and future—to ensure booking offices keep prospects updated and accurate. Keep Trade Management informed daily about loadings and bookings volatility. Liaise closely with Line Management in Dubai regarding vessel loadings, utilization, rotations, and changes. Monitor market and commercial performance of comparable competitors/feeders. Evaluate, in conjunction with agents, trade, and sales, ad hoc loaders for deployment in the service. Maintain close contact with stakeholders (Trade/agents) on rates, contracts, and customer performance. Attend weekly country meetings to report on DBR performance and issues. Key Interactions (Internal | External): External: Agents | Own offices Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 3 years of liner experience, preferably within container shipping with main liners or feeder operators. Extensive knowledge of cargo flow management and commercial aspects. Understanding of liner networks, slot costs, and regional ports. Ability to plan, execute, and multitask effectively. Proficiency in operational procedures and systems, handling large volumes of work. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
