**Summary**

Join us as Cargo Flow Officer and be part of the exciting supply chain process

In this role, you will be reporting to the Cargo Flow Manager. You will be responsible for your assigned services to ensure optimization of full containers, minimize idle cargo and reduce the cost incurred in transhipment port.

**Your main responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Generate report for container transhipment planning and identify long idle cargo at terminal to conduct investigation for delay as well as to ensure evacuation plan is in place
- Plan the connection of incoming transhipment containers and containers connectivity to destination at least 2 weeks in advance
- Prioritize connection planning for in-house vessel and/or source for vessels from third party as alternative
- Identify the optimal vessel connection to respective final destination based on first carrier arrival
- Liaise with transhipment team to nominate the containers on target vessel and update the in-house system accordingly
- Conduct random check if containers are nominated in terminal and ensure in house system is being updated accordingly
- Monitor vessels connectivity and make changes as and when necessary
- Perform vessel planning and prepare daily booking report as and when required
- Liaise with agents to ensure forecast provided are accurate
- Identify and raise potential issue to the trade team on forecast vs fresh bookings variance
- Finalize vessel within stipulated timeline after vessel leaves the direct or transhipment port

**Minimum requirements**:

- At least a Diploma from a recognised education institution
- 0 to 2 years of working experience within the container shipping industry
- Proficiency in MS Excel i.e vlookup, pivot table and macro
