Business Development Manager

**Position Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities including government tenders, service contracts, corporate CSR initiatives, and philanthropic grants
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, corporates, foundations, and community stakeholders
- Negotiate funding terms to ensure cost recovery for staff and organisational overheads
- Collaborate with Finance and HR to design sustainable staffing and resource allocation models
- Develop innovative programme and service delivery models that enhance impact while maintaining cost efficiency
- Track and monitor contract performance, programme outcomes, and reporting requirements
- Provide market insights and business intelligence to support organisational strategy and programme innovation
- Contribute to organisational branding and positioning to strengthen CCSS’s role as a trusted service provider
**Requirements**:
- A servant leader who leads with humility, integrity and love
- Bachelor’s degree in business, social sciences, or related field with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, partnership management, fundraising, or programme development
- Experience in the social service or non-profit sector strongly preferred
- Proven track record in securing contracts, grants, or partnerships
- Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to assess programme sustainability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM or fundraising software an advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Organised, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Passion for social service and alignment with CCSS’s mission and values
