**Job Summary**:
As a Presales Engineer, you will support the sales team by providing deep technical and product expertise during the presales phase of a project. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting technical solutions, and ensuring alignment with customer expectations. Your ability to clearly communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be key in winning business.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Presales Activities**:
- Collaborate with the sales team to engage customers and provide technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Analyze customer requirements, objectives, and challenges to propose the best technical solutions.
- Develop and deliver product presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts that align with customer needs.
**Solution Design**:
- Design and architect solutions in response customer requirements with company products and services.
- Prepare technical documentation and solution proposals.
**Stakeholder Management**:
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary technical liaison for customers during the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management) to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and scalable.
**Proposal Development**:
- Work closely with the sales team to create compelling and accurate technical proposals, estimates, and quotes.
- Ensure that all technical aspects of a proposal meet the customer's needs and fall within company capabilities.
**Market and Product Expertise**:
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to ensure solutions are relevant.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services and communicate their advantages to potential clients.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**:
- Partner with product teams to influence roadmap decisions based on customer feedback and needs.
- Participate in internal meetings to relay customer insights and assist in strategizing new product features or improvements
**Requirements**:
**Skills & Qualifications**
**Experience**:
- 2+ years of experience in a presales or technical sales role from Audio-Visual Collaborative Solutions or related industry.
- Experience with customer-facing roles involving technical consulting or solution architecture.
**Technical Expertise**:
- Strong technical knowledge in relevant domains
- Experience in solution architecture, system integration, or related fields.
**Communication Skills**:
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong writing and documentation skills for creating proposals and technical documentation.
**Problem Solving**:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess customer needs and propose effective technical solutions.
