Description Presales Systems Engineer (Switching/Routing) Randstad Singapore is seeking a Senior Presales Systems Engineer to serve the Southeast Asia region, based in Singapore. About the Company Randstad Singapore connects talent with enterprises across diverse industries, providing comprehensive workforce solutions. Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and partners, driving all presales activities. Lead the technical discovery, design, and presentation of comprehensive enterprise networking solutions with an emphasis on LAN switching/routing and next‑generation Wi‑Fi (Wi‑Fi 6/6E/7). Manage the scoping, deployment, and demonstration of technical proof‑of‑concepts, ensuring fit and accelerating the sales cycle. Provide presales guidance covering Enterprise IT networking and Pro‑AV over IP solutions. Use deep knowledge of competitor environments (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, …) to position our products and articulate competitive advantages. Conduct technical training and enablement sessions for channel partners. Collect, analyze, and synthesize regional technical requirements and feature requests, relaying to Product Management. Maintain expert‑level knowledge of core networking protocols (Layer 2/3, VLANs, QoS) and switching fundamentals. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of proven, current experience as a presales systems engineer, technical sales, or solutions architect within an enterprise networking vendor or a large system integrator. Proven expertise in LAN switching/routing and enterprise Wi‑Fi (switching expertise carries significant weight). Direct experience with enterprise networking products in a customer‑facing capacity. Hands‑on knowledge of major enterprise networking ecosystems (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, etc.). record of driving presales activities with measurable impact on revenue. Strong written and verbal communication in English; additional languages a plus. Willingness and ability to travel 30‑50 % of the time. Industry certifications (CCNA/CCNP, CWNA, Aruba Certified, etc.) highly desirable. Benefits Permanent position with a salary range of $8,000 – $10,000 per month, hybrid working arrangement, and full employment benefits.
