Regional Finance Manager, Ethicon Asia Pacific

**Position Summary**
The Regional Finance Manager, Ethicon Asia Pacific will be responsible for providing business decision support and financial management of Ethicon business across Asia Pacific. The role will be required to actively engage and influence management teams at the country/region/global level(s) for key decision-making.
**Detailed Responsibilities include**:
- Provide financial business decision support to regional marketing and finance leadership by effectively identifying and framing results including root cause analysis. Individual will need to be able to understand risks and opportunities in business and identify action plan to address gaps if required. Individual will need to partner closely with country, region and global teams.
- Provide strategic inputs and contribute to decisions on growth and profit strategies. Evaluate New Product Introductions (NPI) and partner on new business integration/divestiture activities. Engage in portfolio management discussions and investment analysis to drive sustainable growth.
- Support regional Long Range Financial Planning (LRFP) process, review and consolidate country submissions, frame regional strategic plan story and prepare management review decks. Requires close collaboration with regional commercial, Strategic Insights & Analytics (SI&A) and country/global finance teams.
- Analyze regional platform P&L’s and provide insights to ASPAC management team. Influence markets to improve performance and resource allocation.
- Partner with cross functional teams such as supply chain on S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Inventory Planning as well as Gross Profit improvement initiatives
- Lead and assist in various regional strategic initiatives such as, external benchmarking, etc.
- Coordinate and support any global projects as necessary from regional finance perspective.
- Drive effective collaboration and partnership with FP&A to enable an optimal way of working in Medical Devices Finance.

- Ensure policies and procedures are followed
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
- Required Minimum Education: Bachelors or Equivalent
- Required Years of Related Experience: 7+ Years
- Strong analytical skills, good communication and business partnership skills, strong collaboration and learning agility
- People Management Experience: Would be a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Other: MBA /CMA preferred
- Preferred Area of Study: Finance/Accounting, CPA, CMA or other financial certification
- Preferred Related Industry Experience (if applicable): MedTech, healthcare experience preferred
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of general finance/accounting processes.
- Strong influencer, independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success.
- Passion for people development and talent management is critical. Experienced professional with strong communication skills who is able to interact with senior management is required.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
