**Role Objectives**

As a key leader of the Asia Pacific Controllership organization, you will be working closely with other regional/sub-regional finance leaders from FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations Finance and Global COE/Shared Service Center (Cork, Ireland) to manage regional accounting policy and procedure development and enhancement. You will assist with special charge tracking and monitoring, conduct legal entity result analysis, as well as participate in legal entity forecast review and monitoring. Additionally, you will be involved in supporting ad hoc projects and/or internal control standardization and harmonization initiatives across Asia Pacific (_Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Greater China, Japan, Korea, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia_).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Proactively work with sub-region Controllers to conduct annual review of non-standard/judgmental accounting areas for necessary updates and enhancement
- Lead Asia Pacific Accounting policy and procedure development and maintenance, ensure on-going improvement of accounting processes and procedures
- Good knowledge of USGAAP and ability to prepare technical documents and memos to support any new business model or new transactions that may arise from time to time
- Assist all special charge tracking and monitoring, and provide quarterly consolidation reporting
- Support periodic balance sheet review for Asia Pacific entities through working closely with global COE teams
- Conduct Legal entity result analysis periodically, work with FP&A to enhance and improve legal entity forecast processes and procedures
- Support any other Asia Pacific projects (business consolidation, legal entity/site closure, accounting related system automation, service recharge model review, accounting infrastructure enhancement, COA usage standardization and etc) from an accounting and controllership perspective
- Any other assignments designated by Asia Pacific Finance Controller

**Job Requirements**:

- A degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline
- At least 10 years’ experience in controllership or finance in a sizeable multinational company
- Experience in Big 4 audit firms preferred, and Asia Pacific experience is ideal
- Good knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, understanding of how that translates in a practical way to ensure strong internal controls across the region
- Excellent analytical skills; attention to details
- Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong financial modeling skills
- SAP/ERP experience is required
- Ability to multi-task and work with mínimal supervision (self-motivated), comfortable in working with all levels in the organization
- Proficient in English
