Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare all relevant documents for L/C negotiations with bank;
- Prepare correspondences, report, invoices, shipping documents;
- Timely processing of orders and preparation of shipping documents;
- Communicate and liaise with Tradenet, Government agencies for approval of all relevant documents and declarations;
- Ensure that all imported and exported products conform to government or government agencies rules and policies;
- Coordination of delivery, shipment and collection of goods with customers, suppliers, forwarders, shipping companies, contractors for stuffing and unstuffing and other departments within the company/group;
- Negotiation of freight charges for all shipments;
- Issue of weekly/daily work orders for stuffing and unstuffing or loading and unloading of drums, bags and components to the plant;
- Responsible for translation of material requirements to support customers’ and company’s needs;
- Consistent update of incoming and outgoing goods;
- Organize and maintain shipping correspondence file record;
- Continually seek to improve works performance, quality and cost;
- Any Ad-hoc work assigned by the manger

Prerequisites:

- Minimum Diploma in Shipping/Logistics Management/Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience related to Manufacturing and Production Operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Shipping Operations.
- A good Team Player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Working Hours:

- Monday - Friday: 8.15am - 5.30pm
